Mandala Rock Painting

 This beautiful mandala painted rock is perfect for any room decor! Have fun and get creative! 

Materials You Need:

• Rock
• Acrylic paint
• Paint pen and sharpie
• Clear gloss or spray

Instructions:

1. Gather a smooth rock (any size works)!
2. Paint the rock with a color of your choosing. Do 2 coats and let it dry completely. 
3. Once it is dry, use either sharpie or paint pens to draw on the dots of the mandala. This template below may be helpful.
4. Begin with one dot in the middle (on the bigger side). 
5. Draw more dots in a circle around the central dot using a different color. 
   
6. Using a new color make another ring of dots around in a circle. These ones should be slightly larger than the previous ones.  
   
7. Then do another circle of dots using another color. These ones are larger than the last. 
   
8. Using a new color repeat the last step. These dots should be smaller. 
   
9. Use the color you used for your second ring of dots for this one. They should be as big as the last dots. 
   
10. Lastly, use the color used for your first circle of dots and make them very small. 
    
11. Your finished product on the rock will look something like this. Let the paint dry and then use a glossy finishing spray on top!
