Name Rocket

Launch your way into space with a rocket named after YOU! Create a rocket that is designed using the letters of your name as building blocks. 

Materials You Need: 

• Large sheet of black paper
• Multiple sheets of colored paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Stickers
• Black sharpie
• Pencil

Instructions:

1. Lay out a large sheet of paper and gather all your materials. 
   
2. Depending on the number of letters in your name- cut out that number of squares in different colored papers. For example, if you have 5 letters in your name, cut out 5 squares. 
3. Cut out a triangle from a sheet of paper. This will be used as the top of the rocket. 
4. Cut out 3 long rectangles from a sheet of yellow paper. Now you should have all the pieces you need to make your rocket. 
   
5. Glue down your squares onto the black paper. 
6. Using a sharpie, write each letter of your name on the squares. 
7. Glue the triangle above the top square. 
8. Glue the three rectangles at the bottom of the last square and have them fan out. 
9. Decorate the background using glitter, stickers, or cut out shapes!
