Paper Helicopter Propeller

Follow these simple steps to create your own helicopter propeller! Launch your propeller in the sky and have fun! 

Materials You Need: 

• Printer paper 
• Markers
• Scissors
• Tape
• Glue 
• Straw 

Instructions: 

1. Fold the piece of printer paper in half and then cut along the creased line. 
2. Take one of the half pieces of paper so that the long side is facing you, and fold it in half. Then fold it in half again. 
3. Secure with a piece of tape. 
4. Mark the middle of the propeller and then draw two inward triangles with curved edges. See the above picture. 
5. Cut along the lines and then decorate with markers. 
6. Glue the straw to the middle of the propeller. If you do not have a straw, roll up the other paper into a thin cylinder to use as a substitute. 
7. You are finished! Fly your helicopter propeller by rolling the straw between both hands and then releasing it!
