Constellation Lantern
Light up your night with this constellation lantern! Make your own stars and constellations to cover the night sky. Check out our other posts for more fun activities!
Materials You Need:
- Glass jar
- Black acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Toothpicks or needles
- Tea light or fake candle
Instructions:
- Paint the jar black. Let it dry completely. You may need to do a second coat to make sure the glass is covered.
- Once the paint has dried, use a toothpick or a needle to scratch holes in the paint. Make spots/ circles to create stars. You can connect a few stars by scratching off lines of paint to make constellations.
- Once the jar is covered with holes and constellations, insert a tea light or a fake candle!
