Straw Rocket

Make your very own straw rocket out of paper and a straw! This is the perfect DIY for a simple craft and activity! Enjoy!!!

Materials You Need: 

• A piece of printer paper
• Markers
• Scissors 
• Tape
• Straw

Instructions: 

1. Cut the piece of paper printer paper in half. 
2. Take one half, fold about 1/3 of the way in, and cut so you have a rectangle and a square. 
3. Draw a rocket on the bigger piece of the paper (the leftover rectangle).  
4. Place a straw on top of the smaller square paper. 
5. Roll up the paper around the straw and secure it with a piece of tape. Take the straw out. 
6. Fold the top over and secure with a piece of tape. This is the rocket mount. 
7. Tape the mount onto the back of the rocket. 
8. Insert the straw into the mount and blow to launch your rocket!
